This comprehensive assessment will “test” your supervisors’ knowledge of basic health and safety principles. There has never been a standard test to assess supervisors on what they know about safety until now. New and experienced supervisors are both good candidates for the assessment.

It’s an easy to administer, standard gauge of knowledge of the basics of health and safety – the type of information every employer wants to believe their supervisors have. Too often employers find out the hard way – after an incident or injury at the workplace, that their supervisors “just didn’t know”.

This assessment will serve you by reinforcing previous training that you may have provided, determining deficiencies so that future training can be focused on specific learning needs, acting as a periodic supervisor check-up (the test randomly brings up questions so it will be a little different each time you administer it) and assuring that your supervisors are knowledgeable in the basics of health and safety.

Some health and safety legislation require that employers appoint “competent” supervisors and set standards for the knowledge and skills of supervisors.
